Joining Buchanan Arts Center, starting at $40 a month, directly sustains our mission to make creativity accessible for all — supporting open studios, community classes, and free programs across North Nashville.
Core Member Benefits:
Available for $40/month with an annual commitment. Does not include kiln firings*
Early registration: Get a one-week pre-registration window before classes open to the public.
Class discounts: Receive 10% off one class per session or 15% off when you register for two or more classes or workshops. (Discounts apply during the pre-registration period.)
Studio access: Enjoy free members-only studio access on Wednesdays, plus free Sunday Open Studio sessions.

Community critique nights: Attend Meet/Make/Think — a free monthly critique group hosted by our BA Fellows. Held every third Friday, 6–9 PM, it’s a chance for members and students to share works-in-progress and creative ideas.

This option offers expanded access for experienced ceramic artists and students. $100/month with a 1-year commitment.
Weekly kiln firings available, excluding holidays and studio breaks

Additional Free Open Studio Access on Fridays with a special focus on participatory kiln firings, glazing, and materials research
One 25lb bag of clay per 8-week regular session
Access to our glaze lab and raw materials inventory
Kiln firings will be scheduled in collaboration with other Kiln Club members and Riley Rhodes - Operations Studio Manager (studio@buchananarts.org)
As a community-driven 501(c)(3) nonprofit, Buchanan Arts Center relies on individual donations and community support to deliver our garden programs, adult continuing education classes, and free after-school programs for youth in North Nashville.
